Taylor Ryan is a 6x Start up founder with 14 years of marketing experience. He’s got a practical sense for what works which comes from his background as a founder, agency owner, growth-hacker, and advisor to numerous tech startups in Europe.
A Washington, D.C. native, Taylor has been based in Copenhagen, Denmark for the last 6 years.
Taylor has led the marketing departments of four of the fastest-growing start-ups in Denmark, resulting in successful exits for each(1 IPO, 2 Acquisitions, 1 Merger).
Taylor has run successful workshops for some of the world’s most recognizable accelerators and continues to invest in and mentor start ups in Europe and beyond.
Originally from the U.K. and educated at The University of Edinburgh, Omar Shaikh has a background in Asset & Wealth Management.
Omar spent ten years working in London for Schroders, a leading hedge fund, and as an Authorised Corporate Director for a UCITS fund with over £10 billion AUM.
After relocating to Copenhagen, Denmark, he was chosen to serve on the board of Copenhagen FinTech, a government funded non-profit organization with the goal of developing the Fintech industry across the Nordic region.
In 2017, Omar was appointed by Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, as a Trade and Investment Ambassador for Scotland.
Omar currently serves as the CEO and Founder of Cocoa Invest, one of the world’s first fully Islamic compliant online investment businesses.
